These are difficult financial times.

If we are lucky, a recession is on its way (a recession is usually quickly reversible, hence I think of it as being lucky if its just this).

If we are unluckly, we will have either inflation (eroding our savings) or worse yet, stagflation (combination of high inflation and low economic growth … could last decades … source).

In this context, picture this scenario … one day you are casually browsing the internet.

You come across a service that seems too good to be true.

Its solving a critical problem in your life and giving you a step-by-step guidance on how to address the issue.

It has a series of pre-recorded lessons, as well as monthly group zoom webinars where you can ask any questions to the coach/service provider.

The payment plan comes in two options …

  • a monthly plan … slightly higher in cost but you cancel at the end of any month i.e. your minimum commitment is 1 month.
  • a yearly plan … which offers a 2-month discount but you need to pay upfront the entire cost of the year and you cannot receive a reimbursement mid-way…
