Although I don’t know you, this article really hit a nerve.

This article very nicely captures all the feelings that me as a new writer on Medium are going through.

What the future holds-nobody knows.

The only thing I can do is do what is in my control-which is control the leading indicators such as the number and the quality of articles I publish.

The lagging indicators such as the number of followers, number of claps, number of minutes that my article has been read–are all beyond my control.
